Dear prospective parents,
Hello, my name is Brenda Alvarado and thank you so much for taking an interest in CDCLA-Chinatown. I started working at Chinatown in 2015 first as a teacher and now as the center director. As director, I want to take a moment to tell you about the center.
At CDCLA- Chinatown your child will have a new learning experience every day. We use the High Scope Curriculum. Our center focuses on play-based learning. Every chance a child has to play is a chance to learn.
CDCLA- Chinatown has a group of highly qualified teachers that support each other in the education of your children. All the teachers here demonstrate their passion and love for working with children. Each day, the teachers create fun, new learning experiences to help your children grow on their educational journey.
The benefits of enrolling in our center are that we are close to DTLA for parents that work in the area, we provide nutritious meals and snacks and create a foundation for future learning. Our priority is providing great educational opportunities and safe well-being for the children enrolled in our program.
